Zarand Iranian Steel Company (ZISCO) with more than 10 large industrial factories is the largest group of Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company (MIDHCO), which was established in November 2017.

Zarand Iranian Steel Company's approach is to pay special attention to the added value of steel production by completing the chain of iron processing and steel production. The chain that starts from the Jalalabad iron ore mine and processing and converts it into intermediate steel products finally reaches the production of steel by blast furnace method with a capacity of 1.5 million tons of ingots per year.
