Jalalabad Iron Ore Mine
Jalal Abad iron ore mine, having one of the largest iron ore resources in Iran, with an estimated mine reserve of about 6 million tons, is one of the prominent producers of granulated iron ore in the country. The main activity of this mine is the extraction of iron ore using the stepped and open method to feed the iron ore concentrate plant of Zarand Iranian Steel Company.
Production Capacity: Extraction of 6 million tons of magnetite and hematite iron ore annually
