Khomroud Coal Mine

Khomroud coal mine is another production unit of Zarand Iranian Steel Company, which is currently being implemented as one of the largest mining projects in the country with

a geological reserve of 64 million tons and an extractable reserve of 38 million tons.

This project started in 2014 and its main task is to supply the coal needed in the coking plants of Zarand Iranian Steel Company.
